One-sided.

Press-in anchors with teeth on one side are used for connections between wood and steel, e.g. for the fastening of criss-crossing wood with steel supports or for securing the position of purlins on beams or for connecting frame corners.

Press-in anchors with teeth on one side are fastened with bolts that pass through the wood, the press-in anchor and then through the steel support to be connected. The press-in anchor is pressed into the wood after drilling the mounting hole. Depending on the wood and general conditions, the use of a hydraulic press-in tool may be necessary.
When using press-in anchors, the requirements of the wooden construction standard regarding the edge and end distances must be observed.
