THE REACH EU CHEMICALS REGULATION

Identifying and avoiding risks from chemicals

REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. The REACH regulation EC No. 1907/2006 came into force on 1 June 2007 and has been applied directly in all EU member states since this date.

The ultimate aim of this regulation is to protect human health and the environment from potential risks caused by chemicals.
