Wing screws can be used in a wide variety of ways and, due to their geometry, are often used for connections/screw joints that are frequently opened.
They can be easily loosened or tightened again with thumb and index finger.
In damp rooms and outdoors, suitable materials or surface coatings must be used, such as fasteners made of stainless steel or hot-dip galvanised fasteners. (DIN 18360:2019-09).
