Safety swing hooks should be used when mounting children's swings.

Mounting in wooden beam:
Swing hooks with wood thread must be screwed into the wooden beam at least 10 mm beyond the thread (70 mm) to the mark (a), so that the bending moment, the main load, does not impact on the thread. The thickness of the wooden beam must be at least 80 mm: For a 10-mm swing hook, the beam must be pre-drilled to 50 mm depth using a 7-mm drill. In case of dry wood cracks in the area of the drill holes, the hooks must be removed, as the impact of the notch can lead to a risk of breakage for the hook.

Installation in masonry:
A 12-mm anchor must be used for fixing a swing hook in the masonry with a wire thickness of 10 mm. The swing hook must be screwed into the anchor 15 mm beyond the thread, up to the marking. The anchor opening must be flush with the wall (b).

For all types of attachment, the eyelets of the swing hooks must be perpendicular to the swinging direction (d). All places where metal parts come into contact must always be well greased. All supporting parts of a swing should be checked regularly. Use in pairs only.

Minimum swing ring wire thickness: 10 mm.
