Pre-punched nail holes.
Rafter-to-purlin anchors are one-piece, non-welded wood connectors, which are fastened to wooden components with nails.

Rafter-to-purlin anchors can be used for connecting crossing wooden beams of any kind, for securing the position of beams on purlins and walls, for absorbing wind loads in rafters (preventing twisting) and for absorbing longitudinal forces acting on the rafter-to-purlin anchor. The rafter-to-purlin anchor can also be used for mounting of collar tie pairs underneath purlins or collar beams.

When mounting rafter-to-purlin anchors, anchor nails (ring shank nails) dia. 4.0 mm are used. The wooden parts to be joined must be of the same width and have a thickness greater than the penetration depth of the nails in the part.
To avoid twisting the connected wooden components, at least two rafter-to-purlin anchors must always be used per connection. The exact number of rafter-to-purlin anchors required depends on the respective load.
During assembly, the requirements of the timber construction standard with regard to the edge and end distances must be observed, together with the assembly instructions according to the approval certificate.
