The metal cavity anchor is suitable for securing light to medium loads in gypsum plasterboard, lightweight boards and fibre cement boards, e.g. for mounting electrical installations, lighting, pictures, shelving and frames.
The screw belonging to the metal cavity anchor can be replaced after spreading the anchor with another fixture of the same diameter; depending on the application, hooks or eyelets, screws or threaded fittings are options.
The anti-rotation feature prevents turning in the drill hole; in the case of hard surfaces, the tips of the anti-rotation feature must be bent straight.

Pre-positioned and push-through installation

Create the drill hole
Knock in the metal cavity anchor including the screw
To tighten, turn the screw clockwise
Unscrew the screw in an anti-clockwise direction
Attach component
