Pre-punched nail or round holes (short leg: four nail holes and one round hole; long leg: only nail holes).
Anchor nails 4.0 x 40 mm must be used for securing in accordance with EN 14592.
No specified nail pattern needs to be observed with regard to the nailing method according to ETA 08/0259. Partial nailing is permitted.
The load-bearing capacities indicated are for coniferous wood with a characteristic density of ρk ≥ 350 kg/m3.
Rated load capacity of a nail: FVM,Rd = kmod / γM × F1,Rk with γM = 1.3
Rated value of steel load capacity for anchor mounting in concrete: Fm,Rd = Fm,Rk / γM0 with γM0 = 1.0
Rated value of the steel load capacity for tension anchors in concrete: Ft,Rd = Ft,Rk / γM2 with γM2 = 1.25
Rated value of the total load capacity for anchor mounting: F1,Rd = min {n × FVM,Rd; Fm,Rd} where n = number of nails
Rated value of the total load capacity for tension anchors in concrete: F1,Rd = min {n × FVM,Rd; Ft,Rd} where n = number of nails
The minimum distances for nails for sheet steel–wood connections according to EN 1995-1-1 must be observed.

The flat steel anchor can be concreted in or screwed on and is used, among other things, to fasten inferior purlins and supports. Flat steel anchors are used in particular for fastening wooden structures onto concrete needed to transfer lifting forces.

The required concreting depth of the flat steel anchor depends on the concrete quality and the magnitude of the forces at work. If the flat concrete steel anchor is screwed onto concrete, heavy-duty anchors must be used.
When mounting, the edge and axis distances must always be observed. Furthermore, the installation must be carried out in accordance with the approval certificate!
