Pan head
- Large contact surface for high contact pressure for metal-to-wood and wood-to-wood connections
TX drive
- Strong power transmission via six force application areas (line contact)
- No driving-out effect (cylindrical shape eliminates cam-out effect) means long bit service life
- Mechanical processing possible
- Good torque transmission
Under-head reinforcement
- Optimal tear-off resistance enhances safety for user
- Increased screw diameter improves shear strength
Cutting groove in the thread
- Wood fibres are cut when screwing in the screw
Additional threaded segments
- Additional threaded segments on screw tip ensure that screw engages rapidly and creates a drilling effect when screwed in
High torque
- Enables screws to be inserted even in hard varieties of wood without pre-drilling
High-quality hardened steel
- High breaking torque
- Optimal processing quality
Anti-friction coating
- Easy and clean screw-in action
- Less power and force required
The wood connector screws are mainly used to secure 2D and 3D wood connectors to wooden substrates in structural woodwork.
In damp rooms and outdoors, suitable materials or surface coatings must be used, such as fasteners made of stainless steel or hot-dip galvanised fasteners. (DIN 18360:2019-09).
The user is responsible for design considerations.
Before using the screw, select the screw length based on the thickness of the items to be secured and the minimum anchoring depth.
Check the wooden substrate for knots, cracks, discolouration, rot, a defective shape or structure, mechanical damage and similar issues. These problems must not be present as they may weaken the substrate and the screw will be unable to be sufficiently retained.
To apply the screws, use a cordless non-impact screwdriver with a suitable bit.
Pre-drilling is not required.
Installation must be carried out in accordance with the ETA!
