Drywall screw in accordance with EN14566:2008+A1:2009/Class 48/TSD
The drywall screw with drill point is used for screwing plasterboard or solid building boards to thicker or multi-layer metal profiles (e.g. metal stud frames) up to 2.25 mm thick (e.g. pre-wall installation).
Suitable materials or surface coatings, such as stainless steel or hot-dip galvanised fasteners, must be used in damp rooms and outdoors. (DIN 18360:2019-09)
The user is responsible for design considerations.
When working with the drywall screw with drill point, it is important to work with the screw at a normal, even speed and without pressure.
Excessive pressure and speed can cause the drill bit to overheat and break.
