STATUTORY WARRANTY RIGHTS
Information for our customers
The provisions of EU Directive 2024/825 (EmpCo), applicable from 27 September 2026, provide for prominent information on statutory warranty rights for transactions with consumers.
As a B2B supplier, our products and services are generally offered to business customers. The consumer-related information requirement under the EmpCo Directive therefore does not apply to our B2B transactions. Nevertheless, we would like to provide our customers with transparent information about their statutory warranty rights.
Statutory warranty rights
In the event of defective goods, statutory rights relating to defects apply. These generally include, in the first instance, the right to subsequent performance, for example by means of repair or replacement. Under the conditions prescribed by law, further rights may apply, such as a reduction of the purchase price or withdrawal from the contract.
The applicable statutory periods and requirements depend on the legal provisions in force in each case. Transactions between businesses are subject to specific rules, particularly with regard to inspection and notification obligations in the event of defects.
You will find the provisions relating to the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship, as well as the applicable statutory and contractual provisions, in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
